Terms of Service

1. The Service

Tonaliq is an online platform that lets creators upload, share and stream music generated with artificial-intelligence tools (such as Suno, Udio, Stable Audio and similar). Tonaliq acts as a hosting provider: we store and make available content uploaded by users, and we do not carry out prior editorial review of that content.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 15 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. AI-generated music only

The Service accepts only AI-generated music. By uploading a track, you represent and warrant that it was generated using artificial-intelligence tools. Uploading music created by human authors, or recordings of human performances, is not permitted and may be removed.

Under French law (including Law No. 2025-678, in force since 1 January 2026), works generated autonomously by AI, without significant human creative input, are presumed not to be original and therefore not protected by copyright. Where a creator can demonstrate a significant creative contribution, different rules may apply; you are responsible for understanding the status of your own content.

4. Your content and warranties

By uploading content to Tonaliq, you represent and warrant that:

• the content is AI-generated and complies with these Terms;
• the content does not infringe any third party’s intellectual-property rights, including by imitating or reproducing existing copyrighted works;
• the content is not illegal, defamatory, hateful, violent, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise prohibited by law;
• you have the right to upload the content and to grant the licence below.

5. Licence you grant to Tonaliq

You retain whatever rights you may hold in your content. You grant Tonaliq a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transcode, stream and display your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. This licence ends when you delete your content or your account, except for backups retained for a limited time and content that must be preserved to comply with the law.

6. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• upload human-authored music or content you are not allowed to share;
• upload content that imitates an existing artist or work so as to mislead;
• infringe intellectual-property, privacy or personality rights;
• attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Reporting and takedown (DSA)

Anyone may report content believed to be illegal or infringing through our reporting form. In accordance with the Digital Services Act, we review valid notices and remove content confirmed to be illegal, typically within 24 hours. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe these Terms.

8. Moderation and removal

We may remove content or restrict access to it if we have actual knowledge that it is illegal or violates these Terms. We are not obliged to monitor content generally, and we are not liable for user content of which we have no knowledge, in accordance with applicable law.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Tonaliq is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content uploaded by users. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where required by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply to you.

12. Changes and contact
